Maxwell and Helt are two of the most trusted names in Clinton County when it comes to end-of-life care. Generations of families have turned to Maxwell and Helt in their time of need. The funeral homes continue today as a family owned business providing both traditional and contemporary burial and cremation services.
In 1994, Maxwell Funeral Home, Renovo, became part of the Heffner family owned funeral homes. The facility has been renovated and you’ll find it to be clean, spotless and comfortable.
In 1996, Helt Funeral Home, Lock Haven, became part of the Heffner family owned funeral homes. In 1998, the firm was renamed Helt Funeral Chapel and relocated to Mill Hall. It stands as the most modern funeral facility in Clinton County and the only funeral home with a chapel, fire place in the lobby, no steps and lots of off street parking.
