Richard C. Reeder

Richard C. Reeder, 63, of Loganton passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center in State College.

Born October 29, 1959 in Lock Haven he was a son of the late Charles A. Reeder and Beverly R. (Bixel) Jameson.

He worked as a mill rite carpenter. He enjoyed hunting, riding horses and feeding his fish.

Richard was a member of Carpenter’s Local Union #443. In his earlier years he was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church where he was an alter server.

Surviving are his loving companion of over 30 years Gloria A. Worden one son, David A. Reeder of Mifflinburg and two daughters, Stacey J. (Ricky) Jows of Mifflinburg and Charity (Adam Cashner) of Loganton. Six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother Robert Reeder of Jersey Shore and three sisters, Deborah Johnson and Betsy Strouse both of Loganton and Kathy McClintic of State College. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son Troy Haines.

The service will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be private at Rosecrans Cemetery, Loganton.
