Martha A. (Weir) Crouse

Martha A. Crouse, 78, of Renovo, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

Born January 10, 1945, she was the daughter of the late John and Lillian (Witchey) Weir.

Martha was a 1962 graduate of Renovo High School and was employed at several places over the years. Her most recent job was at K&L Auto in Renovo.

 On June 15, 1968, she married the love of her life George Crouse, who survives. They were a month shy of celebrating 55 years of marriage.

Martha was a member of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Renovo. Martha enjoyed cruising with her family and gambling. She also loved her cat, Jeni.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Marcie (Kevin) Gentzyel of Renovo; a brother John Weir, JR of California, two granddaughters, Madi (Chris) Lontz of Camp Hill and Tosh Gentzyel (Ryan) of Castanea; and a great granddaughter, Arilee Clukey.

Memorials can be made to Saint Joseph’s Church of Renovo’s Improvement Fund.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 925 Huron Ave., Renovo with the Rev. Joseph Orr officiating.

Friends and relatives will be received at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., from Noon to 1:45 p.m.

Interment will be private at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner.
