Kathleen J. (Mincer) Snavely

Kathleen J. (Mincer) Snavely, 79, of Beech Creek passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 at her residence.

Born August 29, 1943 in Lock Haven she was a daughter of the late William M. and Teressa (Delaney) Cummings.

She worked for the former Davis Restaurant, Hammermill Paper Co., Weaver & Probst and retired as a chef from Lock Haven University.

She was a member of the Beech Creek Wesleyan Church.

Kathleen was a member of the Beech Creek Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving are two sons; Joseph L. (Kristina) Woodward of Bellefonte and Matthew A. (Stacy) Snavely of Renovo and a daughter Michelle R. (fiancé Justin) Darby-Hardin of Loganton.

Seven grandchildren; Jesse, Matthew, Charles, Seth, Elizabeth, Shaniece and Jason and several great grandchildren.

Also surviving are two brothers; William Mincer of Bedford, Indiana and Kenneth Cummings of Renovo and five sisters; Nancy Young of Lock Haven, Dorothy Cummings of Virginia, Sandra Cummings of Lock Haven, Mary Cummings and Marie Cummings both of Blanchard and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers; Donald Mincer, Robert Mincer and Ronald Cummings and four sisters; Teresa Lapp, Betty Aber, Gertrude Cummings and Sharon Cummings.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
