Jeffrey L. McKinney

Jeffrey L. McKinney, 63, of Avis passed away Friday, Sept., 1, 2023 at Jersey Shore Skilled Health where he was a patient since Aug., 18th.

Born April 4, 1960 in Lock Haven he was a son of the late Gordon F. and Alva R. (Steffy) McKinney.

He was currently employed for E.V.O. Transportation as a truck driver.

Jeffrey was a 1978 graduate of Jersey Shore High School. He attended St. Agnes Church.

Surviving are two nieces, Holly Gillott and Lori Peluso both of Flemington and two nephews, Pat Peluso, Jr. of Mocanaqua and Scott Peluso of Mill Hall.

He was preceded in death by a brother Gordon W. McKinney, two sisters, Carol Peluso and Mary McKinney, a nephew Gordy Peluso and a niece Bobbie Jo Hunsinger.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept., 8, 2023 at the Helt Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dennis A. Smith officiating.

Friends and relatives will be received from 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the funeral chapel.

Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
