George L. Brungard

George L. Brungard, 76, of Haneyville passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport Hospital.

Born January 22, 1947 in Lock Haven he was a son of the late Lewis and Verna (Joloff) Brungard.

He was married on July 18, 1975 to the former Diana J. Cryder. They celebrated 47 years of marriage together.

George worked for Jersey Shore Steel for 42 years retiring in 2009. He was a member of Haneyville Bible Church, Haneyville Fire Dept. and a lifetime member of North American Hunting Club. He enjoyed word puzzles.

Surviving are his loving wife; and two sons; Adam (Jackie) Brungard of Jersey Shore and William (Chasity) Mincer of Lock Haven also two daughters; Tammy (Wayne) Spotts of Oval and April Mincer of Haneyville. Ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

George was preceded in death by a sister Anna June Hill.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with Pastor Frank Rogers officiating.

Friends and relatives will be received one-hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.

Burial will be private at Haneyville Cemetery.
