Virginia L. “Duga” Gundlach, 77, of Howard passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Susque-View Home where she resided the past three years.

Born January 3, 1944 in Lock Haven she was a daughter of the late Harry L. and Lenora I. (Shay) Haugh.

She worked for Woolrich, Murata and in housekeeping at Susque-View for several years.

Virginia graduated from Bald Eagle Nittany High School. She enjoyed the outdoors, shopping, picnics with her family and attending sporting events for her great grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughter Brenda L. (Richard) Matis of Howard and two granddaughters Erica (Thom) Culvey of Mill Hall and Jena (Bub) Wetzel of Orviston. Four great grandchildren, Ethan, Cayden, Carrah and Cailey.

Also surviving are a brother, Michael Watkins of Kansas, four sisters, Carol Gray of Beech Creek, Donna Smith of Lock Haven, Cindy Leitch of Mill Hall and Caroline Eisenhower of Castanea.

She was preceded in death by a great granddaughter Cyrri Culvey.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be held privately at Hayes-Fearon-Bossert Cemetery, Beech Creek.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Clinton County SPCA, 33 Mill Hill Road, Lock Haven, PA  17745.

Helt Funeral Chapel, Mill Hall has charge of arrangements.
