Steven R. Bressler

BELLEFONTE - Steven Robert “Stevie” Bressler, 65, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 at his group home surrounded by loving attentive staff.

He was born March 25, 1960 in Renovo. He was a son of the late Eugene and Genevieve Bressler of Renovo.

Stevie was preceded in death by his father, mother, sister Donna and niece Mallorie.

He is survived by his loving sister, Sue Meyers of Renovo and nephews, Joel, Jan, Brody, Kohler, Josh, Stacey, Addison, Tylar Clemente and Jamison Wentworth. His niece Tiff, Brian, Abby Cooper, Aaron Brushwood and his brother-in-law Tom Clemente.

He graduated from the Susquehanna Intermediate Unit in Lewisburg, Class of 1981. He was Methodist by faith.

Stevie enjoyed music of all kinds, food especially by his sister Donna who made her Thanksgiving stuffing balls. He enjoyed concerts, the Harlem Globetrotters, Penn State Football, pretty girls and different hats.

He loved Christmas decorations while taking a tour with his dad, sister Donna and brother-in-law Tom.

Stevie was so loved and cared for by a loving attentive staff at Skills-Westside Dr. in Zion.

Our family is so forever grateful to all the staff and Special Olympics he loved to participate. Especially Sue Morrow, Mary Beth Chalfa and Angie Guisewite.

He attended CCCC Day program in Lock Haven 5 times a week.

The staff there were kind, understanding and helpful and truly cared about Stevie.

The funeral service will be held at 400 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025 at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo with Martha Sykes officiating.

Friends and relatives with be received one hour prior to the service.

A luncheon will be held at the North Bend United Methodist Church following the funeral service.

Private burial will be held at North Bend Cemetery on Monday June 16th.
