Sherry L. Probst

NORTH BEND - Sherry L. (Paul) Probst, 76, died Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Bucktail Medical Center after a brief battle with cancer.

She was born on August 28, 1948 in Renovo and was the daughter of the late Dorothy Stuart.

On February 23, 1965, Sherry married William L. “Bill” Probst, who survives of North Bend, and they celebrated 59 years of marriage together this year.

Sherry was a member of First United Methodist Church, Sons of Italy and the Elks Club all of Renovo. She enjoyed shopping, going on car rides and the casino’s and the four cats that her and Bill had together, but most of all she loved her family and spending time with them. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life.

In addition to her husband, Sherry is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; William L. “Bill” and Debra Probst, Jr. of North Bend and Brian E. and Sandy Probst of South Renovo, one daughter and son-in-law; Barbara J. and Tom Shearer of Renovo, seven grandchildren; Erica (Bruce) Langford, Alicia (Colin) Grube, Emily (Chase) Cohron, Hannah Shearer, Demetri (Fiancé; Alexya) Probst, Elliot Probst and Tristan Probst and one soon to be, Great Granddaughter who Sherry was so anxiously waiting to meet.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Clinton County SPCA, 33 Mill Hill Road, Lock Haven, PA 17745.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street, Renovo from 11:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M. followed by a Celebration of Life service at 12:30 with Martha Sykes officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family in North Bend Cemetery.
