Robert A. Etters, 76, of Mill Hall, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026, at UPMC Susquehanna in Williamsport.
Born Oct. 4, 1949, in Lock Haven, he was a son of the late Robert and Lillian (Kitchen) Etters.
Robert was married on June 21, 2000, to the former Brenda K. Askey. They celebrated 26 years of marriage together.
He worked for Champion Parts and retired from First Quality in McElhattan.
Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, football and gardening. He attended Salona United Methodist Church.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He served as an Air Borne Screaming Eagle, receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Surviving are his wife, Brenda; two sons, Robert P. (Charity) Etters, of Mill Hall, and Charles R. (Christina) Etters, of Rauchtown; two daughters, Terri M. (Scott) Barner, of Mill Hall, and Brenda L. (Jeff) Shroat, of Flemington; two step-sons, Michael D. (Natalie) Glantz, of Lamar, and Travis D. Wagner, of Avis; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a step-granddaughter; and two sisters, Suzi Lowery, of Arkansas, and Della Watson, of Mill Hall.
Robert was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Bobby and Ricky.
A viewing for family and friends will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026, at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall.
Interment will be private at Jacksonville Cemetery with military honors.

Jacksonville Cemetery
A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2026 at Jacksonville Cemetery with military honors by the Bellefonte VFW.
Following the graveside service there will be a Celebration of Life Service at Noon at the Cedar Heights Brethren In Christ Church, 37 Cedar Heights, Mill Hall.
