Randy L. Kunes, 57, of Blanchard, passed away Monday, March 27, 2023, at UPMC Susquehanna in Williamsport.
Born April 7, 1965 in Lock Haven, he was a son of the late Bruce Kunes. His mother, Norma (Fowler) Hayes, of Rote, survives.
Randy worked as a foreman for G.M. McCrossin, Inc. of Bellefonte. He was a member of the Laborers Local Union #824 of Bellefonte.
He was also a member of the Beech Creek American Legion and the Castanea Fire Hall.
Randy was a 1983 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
He loved the outdoors, taking mountain rides and going to his camp on Beech Creek Mountain.
Surviving are his loving mother; a son; Trapper L. (and his fiancé, Brittany) Kunes; and a brother A. William (Leanne) Kunes, of Howard.
He was preceded in death by his father.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2023, at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall, with Pastor Alan Eckenroad officiating.
Friends and relatives will be received from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the funeral chapel on Friday and from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel.
