Patricia A. Shields

Patricia A. “Pat” Shields, 76, a former resident of Lock Haven passed away Monday, May, 30, 2022 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport where she was a patient since Wednesday.

Born July 29, 1945 in Lock Haven she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Tessie (Shadle) Shields.

Pat worked for Island Poultry Farm, Lock Haven Savings & Loan and Fulmer’s Personal Care Home.

She was a member of the Dunnstown United Methodist Church for over 50 years where she sang in the choir and was a Sunday School treasurer.

Pat enjoyed watching TV especially the Andy Griffith Show. She was a 1963 graduate of Lock Haven High School. After high school she moved to Johnstown to learn the skill of dressmaking.

Surviving are two sisters, Mary Jane Bauman of Lock Haven and Margaret “Peg” (John) Walizer of Dallastown and a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2022 at the Helt Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jay Saldana officiating.

Friends and relatives will be received one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be private at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
