Nancy J. Dickey

Nancy J. (Hevner) Dickey, 84, of Mill Hall passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born December 1, 1939 in Beech Creek she was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Anderson) Hevner.

Nancy was married on May 30, 1958 to Kenneth L. Dickey, Sr., who died August 20, 2022. They celebrated 64 years of marriage together.

She worked for Supelco, Inc. in Pleasant Gap retiring in 2002.

Nancy was a former member of the Church of Christ in Mill Hall. She enjoyed bingo, traveling with her friends on bus trips. She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates baseball fan she enjoyed music and listening to George Jones.

Surviving are one son, Kenneth L. Dickey, Jr., of Mill Hall and a sister Trudy Masden of Richmond, VA also two special nieces, Sherry Weaver of Marsh Creek and Karen Falls of Howard and a host of other nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband she was preceded in death by her siblings, Shirley Rishel, Ruth Herlocher, Thomas Hevner, Donald Hevner, Frances Shady, Helen Bowman, Margaret Young, Miriam Hanley, Alice Butler, Ruby Morton and Martha Bowman.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., with the Rev. Mark E. Riley officiating.

Friends and relatives will be received one-hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.

Burial will be private at Hayes-Fearon-Bossert Cemetery, Beech Creek.
