Matthew P. Rosamilia

Matthew P. Rosamilia, 52, of Mill Hall went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at his residence with his family by his side.

Born April 21, 1970 in Williamsport he was a son of Charles “Mike” and Debbie (Raemsch) Rosamilia of Lock Haven.

He was married on February 25, 1995 to the former Michelle L. Chappelle. They celebrated 27 years of marriage together.

Matthew worked at the Lycoming County Court House for 23 years, retiring in 2021. He was a graduate of Lock Haven University where he received his degree in Political Science.

He was a member of Beech Creek Wesleyan Church.

Matthew was an avid Buffalo Bill’s football fan. He enjoyed fishing with his son and watching football with him.

He enjoyed 4 wheeling and hosting events for his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him, he was a kind man who was always so giving. He had a truly unique sense of humor and had the ability to light up any room he walked into. He was admired by us all.

Surviving are his loving wife, one son Jeremy M. Rosamilia at home and his parents.

One sister Deborah M. Rosamilia of Lock Haven a niece Renae (Hunter) Shoemaker of Lock Haven, two nephews, several aunts and uncles survive him along with his father-in-law and mother-in-law Roy and Pat Chappelle of Lock Haven and a sister-in-law Joellen (Dennis) Gilbert.

He was preceded in death by his beloved Pop and Nan Raemsch.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, Oct., 25, 2022 at Beech Creek Wesleyan Church, 217 Main St., Beech Creek with Pastor Alan Eckenrode officiating.

Friends and relatives will be received from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the church on Monday.

Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.
