Marjorie A (Redos) Massaro, 92, of South Renovo, passed peacefully on December 16, 2023. She was a daughter of John J Redos and Helen (Chase) Redos, born November 19, 1931.
Marjorie graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1949, and DuBois Business College in 1951.
She worked as Secretary, Office Management and retired as Executive Secretary/HP Administrator from Aloka, Ltd of Connecticut. Upon retirement she returned to her home town of South Renovo.
Catholic by Faith, member of St Joseph’s Church and Catholic Daughters of America.
Marjorie was beloved by all who knew her. She opened her home and welcomed friends and family any time they were near. Her home became a gathering place in South Renovo for all her family.
Marjorie is survived by beloved husband Vincent C. Massaro, sons, Steven Gyurina (Carol) in Massachusetts, James Gyurina, South Renovo, Daughter Juliann Bacewicz (Tony) in CT, Grandchildren Dustin, Guy, Gabriel, Lydia, Sarah; Great Grandchildren, Justice, Mason, Brooke, Paloma, Graham; Siblings, Mary Gregory, Jeanne Cavalier and John Redos; and numerous stepchildren and step grandchildren. Nieces Barbara, Terri, Chrissy, Tina, Carol, Tawnya, Stephanie, Leslie, and Lori; Nephews, Todd, Scott, Rob, Tim, Glenn, Craig, Gerry, John and Jim, Ted, Aaron, and many very special cousins.
Predeceased by her parents, her brother, Michael Redos, sisters, Elizabeth Stahley, Alice Hevner, Susan Redos, and nephew Mick Hevner.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 12:00 to 12:45 at Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street, Renovo.The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 PM at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church, 925 Huron Ave., Renovo with the Rev. Joseph Orr officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner.
