Malhcolm F. Walizer, 90, of McElhatten passed away, Thursday, July 8, 2021 at UPMC Lock Haven where he was a patient since Monday.

Born April 19, 1931 in Lock Haven he was a son of the late Reginald A. and Clara E. (Hilse) Walizer.

He was married on December 19, 1953 to the former Dorothy Smith who died November 11, 2019. They celebrated 64 years of marriage together.

He served in the Navy and served on board the USS Leahy.

Malhcolm works as a maintenance supervisor at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL for 25 years.

He enjoyed fishing, reading and sitting on his porch watching and watching the birds.

Surviving are two sons, Allan (Cathy) Walizer of TN and Kendall Walizer of Lykens and two daughters, Robin Wynkoop of Jacksonville, FL and Joyce Hoy of McElhatten.

He is survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

Malhcolm was preceded in death by a brother Richard and a sister Betty Broschard.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
