Linda Kay Yost

Linda Kay (Shade) Yost, 76, of Mill Hall passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at The Gatehouse in Williamsport.

Born April 27, 1949 in Lock Haven a daughter of the late Robert L. and Mary J. (Watkins) Shade.

Linda was a 1967 graduate of Lock Haven High School. She enjoyed reading, crafts, crocheting, bingo and watching westerns especially Gunsmoke.

Surviving are two sons; James R. (Donna) Yost, Jr. of Mill Hall and Ronald W. Yost of Lock Haven, a daughter Brenda L. (Terry) Rachau of Beech Creek, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one brother Robert L. Shade, Jr., of Lock Haven.

A viewing for family and friends will be held Friday, March 27, 2026 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with her son, Pastor James R. Yost, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow at Swissdale Cemetery, Lock Haven.
