Joyce M. Calhoun

MILL HALL - Joyce M. (Pelton) Calhoun, 59, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 9, 2018 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on February 15, 1959 in Lock Haven a daughter of the late Clarence and Phyllis (Hassinger) Pelton.

Joyce loved camping, riding ATV’s. spoiling her puppies Willow and Taffy. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and beloved husband of 37 years Gary Calhoun, Sr. Joyce worked as a waitress at the former Blue Chimney Restaurant  in Mill Hall and McDonald's in Lock Haven.

In addition to her parents Joyce was preceded in death by a daughter Michele Green of Clearfield.

In addition to her husband; Joyce is survived by a sister, Phyllis Pelton-Keller of Lock Haven brothers Pete Pelton of Oklahoma and Robert Pelton of Williamsport, sisters Marsha (Chuck) Smith and Patty (Jim) Newman both of Lock Haven. She is survived by a step-son Bill (Kristie) Tyson of Bellefonte a step-daughter Jessica Tyson and her fiancé Justin of Williamsport and sons, Cliff (Kendra) Brown of S. Williamsport and Gary (Sheri) Calhoun of Pittsburgh also 12 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with the Rev. Alison Grove officiating.

Friends and relatives will be received from 1:30 -2:00 at the funeral chapel.

Interment will be private.

Donations can be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
