Jay Kevin Barnes, 56, of Mill Hall, PA passed away on November 11, 2021. Jay was born in Glendale California on August 13, 1965. The son of Lawton Jay Barnes, and Deanna Kay (Almlie).

Jay graduated from Burroughs High School in Burbank and went on to pursue a master's degree in Supply Chain Management.

Jay enjoyed taking drives to explore his new home state with his beautiful wife Janelle (Miller). Jay was an excellent cook and always loved trying new recipes out on family and friends. Jay was an avid swimmer, and in his youth was on the water polo team and was an excellent artist who at one point thought of becoming a cartoonist. He enjoyed watching decorating and cooking shows with his wife- every woman's dream man!

Jay is survived by his beautiful wife Janelle, their fur babies Macy, Tinkerbelle (Tinky), Mina and Lily. His beloved parents- Jay and Karen Barnes of Big Bear Lake, California, and Carlo and  Deanna Schena of Burbank, California. He is survived by a brother James Barnes (Shannon) of Jersey Shore, PA and a sister Kelli Roberts of Saugus, California. His children Justin and Jenna Barnes of Tennessee. Nephews Harry (Kelsey) Barnes of Lock Haven, PA, James (Danielle) Barnes of Harrisburg, PA, Cooper Roberts of Saugus, California and nieces Kalen Barnes of South Williamsport, PA., and Carly Roberts of Saugus, California.

He also was a phenomenal great uncle to several littles.

Jay was welcomed by his newly extended family as he was just married in April of this year- his beloved in laws Joe and Rita Miller, of Mill Hall, brother in laws Joe Miller (Billie) of Mill Hall, John Miller (Joy) of Bellefonte, PA, and Jeremy Miller of Allentown, PA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews of which Jay was very fond of.

Jay will be greatly missed. A private service will be held for the family. A life celebration for family and friends is planned for the summer of 2022 in California.
