Janet M. Donahay

LOCK HAVEN - Janet M. (Runkle) Donahay, 72, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at The Gatehouse, Williamsport.

She was born on July 16, 1954 in Williamsport and was the daughter of the late Floyd and Katherine Runkle.

Janet was a graduate of Williamsport High School, Class of 1973. She went on to work for First Quality, McElhattan as a packer for over 20 years.

She was a formerly attended First Church of Christ, Lock Haven and enjoyed sewing, the Pittsburgh Steelers and her pet dog; Wattson.  She was also an avid bingo player.

Janet is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; John A. and Jessica Kenyon of Hughesville, one daughter; Cynthia C. Hamm of Lock Haven and four grandchildren; Mercedes, Owen, Paige and Jaxson.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by one brother: John Confer.

A Celebration of Life service has been scheduled for 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 19, 2026 at the Piper Museum on the 3rd floor, 1 Piper Way, Lock Haven, PA 17745. The Piper Museum is handicapped accessible. The Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall, PA 17751 is honored to serve the Donahay family.
