Grace Mae Winkleman

Grace Mae (Wagner) Winkleman, 91, a former resident of Beech Creek, passed away on Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, at Haven Place in Lock Haven.

Born Dec. 11, 1934, in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Tillie (Spangler) Wagner.

Grace was married to Sonny J. Winkleman on July 11, 1953, until his passing on March 5, 1998.

She worked in the Lock Haven Hospital Dietary Dept. from the age of 15 until she retired at 62.

Grace was baptized at an early age and she is now with her Lord, alongside her late husband and daughter, Patricia, who passed away March 1, 2022.

She is survived by two sons, James L. (Loretta) Winkleman, of Avis, and David W. (Bonnie) Winkleman, of St. George, Utah; a daughter, Karen S. (Gary) Maguire, of Lock Haven; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Getz, of Renovo, and Heilda Winkleman, of Lock Haven; and numerous brothers, two of whom have passed, Harry and Albert.

The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept., 17, 2026, at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall, with Pastor Henry Packer officiating.

Friends and relatives will be received from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the funeral chapel.

Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
