Franklin H. Rishel

Franklin H. Rishel, 87, of Mill Hall passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center in State College. He is survived by his significant other, Linda K. Yost.

Born March 2, 1934 in Clintondale, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Samuel A. and Annabelle H. (Walizer) Rishel.

Franklin served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958 and in the Pennsylvania National Guard from 1958-1962. He was a longtime member of the American Legion.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Charles A. Rishel.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at Mt. Bethel Cemetery in Porter Township. Helt Funeral Chapel in Mill Hall has charge of arrangements.
