Esther A. Hanley

Esther A. (Watkins) Hanley, 64, of Pine Creek Twp., Lock Haven passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at UPMC Susquehanna in Williamsport.

Born September 11, 1959 in Lock Haven a daughter of the late Charles L. and Anna J. (Brungard) Watkins.

Esther was married to Thomas “Tom” Hanley who preceded her in death.

She worked in housekeeping for Penn College and Stonehurst in Williamsport.

Esther enjoyed playing cards, her animals, crocheting, word search puzzles and going to the races.

Surviving are a brother, Charles L. Watkins, Jr. of Cherry Ridge and five sisters, June M. Young of Brooksville, FL, Betty Wetherson on Northern Cambria, PA, Judy Pace of Inverness, FL, Linda Showers of Port Barre, LA and Mary Ras of Calhoun, TN and her caregivers Bill and Dottie Gardner of Lock Haven.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 24, 2024 at Woolrich Community Park.

Helt Funeral Chapel, Mill Hall has charge of the arrangements.
