Dorothy (Smith) Walizer

Dorothy (Smith) Walizer, 83, of McElhatten passed away Monday, November 4, 2019 at Susque-View Home, Lock Haven.

She was born November 19, 1935 in Lock Haven a daughter of the late James and Myrtle (Dullen) Smith.

Dorothy was married on December 19, 1953 to Malhcolm F. Walizer who survives. They celebrated 64 years of marriage together.

She enjoyed making jewelry, reading, watching soap operas and gardening. She was a 1953 graduate of Mill Hall High School.

Surviving are her husband, two sons, Allan Walizer of McElhatten and Kendall Walizer of Lykens and two daughters Robin Wynkoop of Jacksonville, FL and Joyce Hoy of McElhatten.

Nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Also surviving are a brother Ronald Smith and a sister Judy Welch both of Mill Hall.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
