Dean L. Bowman, Jr.

Dean L. Bowman, Jr., 72, of Mill Hall, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at his residence with his family by his side.

Born March 10, 1953, in Lock Haven, he was a son of the late Dean L. Bowman, Sr. and Nancy (Jodun) Bowman.

Dean was married on Aug. 20, 1971, to the former Cathy A. Paulhamus. They celebrated 53 years of marriage together.

He was owner/operator of Bowman’s General Construction in Mill Hall.

Dean enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was a 1971 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School.

Surviving are his loving wife; a son, Dean L. (Julia) Bowman, of Altoona, a daughter, Tia M. (Matt) Walker, of Mill Hall; three grandchildren, Addisen, Cole and Bryce; a sister, Wanda Bowman, of Ozark, Ala.; a brother, Steve Bowman, of Lemont, Ill.; and his pet beagle, "Buddy."

A Celebration of Life service is being planned and will be announced.

Helt Funeral Chapel in Mill Hall has charge of the arrangements.
