David A. Falls, Sr.

David A. Falls, Sr., 79, of Howard, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College.

Born Nov. 11, 1946, in Lock Haven, he was a son of the late Joseph and Lovelean (Weaver) Falls.

He was married on Nov. 12, 1966, to the former Betty L. Bowers, who preceded him in death on Sept. 6, 2019.

He graduated in 1964 from Lock Haven High School. David served his country in the U. S. Army from April 5, 1966 to May 16, 1967.

David worked for Cerro Brass in Bellefonte for over 40 years until it closed.

David loved to hunt and fish with his grandson, Michael.

Surviving are a daughter, Peggy S. Long; and a son, David A. Falls, Jr., both of (Pole Cat) Howard; a grandson, Michael T. Long, also of Howard; three sisters, Linda Brungard, Doris Reeder and Judy Corman; a brother, Steve Falls; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Wagner; two brothers, Ken Falls and Dan Falls; and a son-in-law, Thomas R. Long, Jr.

There will be no visitation.
