Constance Lee Stroup

Constance Lee “Connie” (Kouf) Stroup, 68, of Hyner died, Friday, March 1, 2024 at Bucktail Medical Center E. R. after being stricken at home.

Born November 8, 1955 in Renovo she was a daughter of the late Herman and Margaret Kouf.

Connie was married on August 10, 1974 to Gary L. Stroup. They celebrated 49 years of marriage together.

She was a 1974 graduate of Bucktail High School. She enjoyed collecting carnival glass, gardening and tending to her flowers.

Surviving are her loving husband, one daughter Summer (Damon) Bloom of Virginia and two grandsons, Damon and Gage. Also, a sister Faith Kouf of Williamsport.

Connie was preceded in death by a son Jared “Squirrel” Stroup in 2000.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
