Christina M. Bickel

PAOLI - Christina M. (Serafini) Bickel, 87, died Sunday, August 30, 2026 at Columbia Cottage Assisted Living, Harrisburg.

She was born on December 7, 1938 in Renovo and was the daughter of the late Henry and Frances (DeMart) Serafini.

Christina was married to the late Joseph E. Bickel for many years until his death on April 25, 2020.

She was a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School, Renovo and then moved to the Paoli area where she worked for Deluxe Printing Company for over 35 years and retired in 1998.

Christina was a member of St. Norbert Perish, Paoli. She loved to donate to the SPCA for animals in need and enjoyed her flower gardens, going out to eat, visiting the casinos, convertible cars, taking care of her home and spending time with her family. Christina also had a love for all of her pets over the years.

She is survived by one sister; JoAnne Welton of Renovo, two nephews; Robert and Wayne Welton and one niece; Kim Cameron.

In addition to her parents and husband, Christina was preceded in death by one brother; Henry Ross and one nephew; Richard Welton.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 12:30 – 1:15 P.M. at Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street, Renovo followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 925 Huron Ave., Renovo, PA 17764 with The Reverend Joseph Orr officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Hyner.
