Charles "Randy" Wise

Charles “Randy” Wise, 74, of Castanea passed away at home on Saturday, November 1, 2025.

Born April 14, 1951 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Earl L. Wise, Jr. and Bertha A. (Hosterman) Wise.

Randy was a 1969 graduate of Lock Haven High School. He was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army, proudly serving from 1970 – 1973.

Randy retired from the General Construction Laborers of Bellefonte.

He was a member of the Beech Creek American Legion, Howard Vets and the Son’s of Italy.

He is survived by a daughter; Jennifer Wise of New Castle, DE and a son; Jared (Stephanie) Wise of Huntingdon. Two granddaughters; Ava and Evelyn Wise both of Huntingdon. Two sisters; Brenda (Dana) Masden of Beech Creek and Corinne (Larry) Muthler of Mill Hall, also two brothers; Michael Wise of Blanchard and James (Karen) Probst of Lock Haven.

Randy is survived by a host on nieces and nephews; Billy, Kelly, Chadrick and Lita as well as great nieces and nephews.

A public viewing will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall.

Interment will be at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville at a later date.
