Charles L. Klobe, Jr., 94, of Beech Creek and Mill Hall, passed away at home on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
Born July 22, 1931, in Loganton, he was a son of the late Charles L. Klobe, Sr. and Margaret (Yarrison) Klobe.
He was married in 1952 to the former Ethel M. Karchner who died November 25, 2021. They celebrated 69 years of marriage together.
Charles worked for the Carpenters Union and the Metal Lathing Union.
He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Charles enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Beech Creek American Legion.
Surviving are two sons, Robert L. (Brenda) Klobe, of Mill Hall, and Charles R. (Nicole) Klobe, of Lock Haven; a daughter, Carol M. Nihart, of Florida; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harold Klobe, of Los Angeles, CA.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Fred, Willard, Glenn, Lindy and Kenneth; and four sisters, Dorothy Meixel, Thelma Bierly, Mildred Klobe and Hazel Klobe.
A Celebration of Life Service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
