Charles W. Dershem

Charles W. Dershem, 62, of Lock Haven died Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville where he was a patient since Friday.

Born Sept., 26, 1960 in Lock Haven he was a son of the late Ralph A. Dershem, Sr. and Harriet J. (Long) Dershem.

He worked at the former Box Factory in Jersey Shore and as a clerk for the Red Apple on Hogan Blvd., in Mill Hall.

Charles enjoyed Penn State football, New York Yankees and was a hunter.

Surviving are two brothers; Ralph “Buzz” Dershem of Antes Fort and James H. Dershem of Lock Haven. One nephew Curtis Dershem of Lock Haven.

He was preceded in death by a niece Laurie L. Frantz a nephew James H. Dershem, Jr. and a sister Frances Dershem.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
