Williamsport

Barry "BJ" K. Parsons, Jr. 38, of Williamsport lost his courageous battle with life Monday, December 6, 2021.

Born June 30, 1983, in Williamsport he was the son of Barry K. Parsons, Sr. and Jane Hetzel.

"BJ" had an extreme amount of love for life!

He especially enjoyed his family and was a big kid at heart. BJ was a very humble man who respected everyone and showed unconditional love, kindness, and mercy.

He often struggled with his health but he continued to strive. He had an infectious laugh and a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to travel and explore new places.

His most important and prideful accomplishment were his two children, Barry III (Homer), Brooklynn (Bundles) Parsons.

Surviving are his lifelong companion of twenty years and the mother of his children, Nikki; one son, Barry K, Parsons III; one daughter, Brooklynn Parsons of Williamsport; two sisters, Tonya Watts of Coal Township and Linsey (Kevin) Woodling of Williamsport; three nephews, three nieces; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

BJ was as close as any brother to his cousin Anthony Parsons his “true Soldier” of Texas.

BJ was preceded in death by his father Barry K Parsons, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Barry and Marion Parsons; and maternal grandparents, David E. and Brenda Alexander.

Private visitation will be held from 1pm-2pm Saturday December 11th at Helt Funeral Chapel 232 Hogan Blvd. Mill Hall.

Following visitation, a dinner and time of reflection will be held at the Salvation Army, 457 Market St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
