Arthur L. Merrill

Arthur L. Merrill, 61, of Loganton passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024 at his residence after a long illness.

Born June 7, 1962 in Jersey Shore he was a son of the late Lee L. and Doris E. (Holdren) Merrill.

Arthur was married on January 20, 2018 to the former Terri Woodring who survives. They celebrated 6 years of marriage together.

He worked for Prysmian as a machine operator for over 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren. He attended Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren and was a member of the Elks Lodge, Jersey Shore.

Surviving are his loving wife, two sons, Robert (Traci) Merrill of Hughesville and Rian (Samantha) Merrill of Jersey Shore, two step-sons Patrick (Laurel) Elders of Howard and Brian (Tiffany) Elders of FL. and a step-daughter Kim (Kevin) Rogers of NJ.

12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He is survived by a brother Jerry (Gail) Merrill of Loganton.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren, 2305 Winter Road, Loganton with Pastor Kenneth Geisewite officiating.

Helt Funeral Chapel, Mill Hall has charge of the arrangements.
